DelSol colour change nail polish review

Hello, it’s Sunday already!!! Every Sunday I wonder where the week has gone :/ Today I have a DelSol colour change nail polish review prepared for you. DelSol nail polishes are UV sensitive polishes, meaning that they change colour when exposed to sunlight and change back to the original colour when indoors. My goal was to show each of the polish indoors and out in the sun, however the sun has been playing hide and seek all day :( I managed to photograph one polish in the sun but used my UV light for the other two (results are exactly the same however).

DelSol Glitz & Glam

Glitz & Glam is a blue glitter nail polish on a clear base. The base is clear indoors but turns pink when outside. On the swatches I am wearing three coats of polish with no top coat. With just two coats the polish looked nice but the pink state was too sheer for me. Glitz & Glam was very easy to apply and I was very happy with the glitter spread. I rarely wear glitters with no undies but I quite liked this one with no base colour.

DelSol Ruby Slipper

Ruby Slipper is a silver glitter nail polish on a clear base. Similarly to Glitz & Glam the clear base turns pink when exposed to sunlight. Again, easy application with a great glitter density. On the swatches I am wearing three coats of Ruby Slipper with no top coat.

DelSol Electrick!

Electrick! is a light blue polish with shimmer finish. When exposed to sunlight this posh turns in light green colour and remains it’s shimmer. On the swatches I am wearing three coats with no top coat. The formula of this polish was very sheer and even with three coats there was some visible nail line. Unfortunately Electrick! applied with very strong brush lines which I did not like.

Regardless of the bad application I loved how it matched the shirt I was wearing today :)

Overall a pretty bunch of polishes with a cool effect. From the three I loved Glitz & Glam the most and Electrick! was the least favourite because of the streakiness. DelSol colour changing nail polishes retail for £5.99 each and they are available from Colour Change Nail Polish website.

Thanks for reading and let me know what you think of the colour changing effect xoxox
